Category: Kogi News

The Governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada has denied reports that the state is workers salaries. Governor Wada revealed this through his Personal Assistant on General Matters, in a chat with newsmen in Abuja, yesterday.

The State governor, insists that he is up-to-date in meeting his obligations to the state workforce.

Governor Wada, who spoke to newsmen through his personal assistant (PA) on general matters, Unekwuojo M. Sule, yesterday in Abuja, said he should not be named among governors in default of payment of their workers’ salaries as he meets his wage obligations before the end of each month.

“It is not true that the teachers in Kogi State are being owed one year or eight months salary arrears. It is a challenge to the media to verify and come out with the true position of the story." He said.
