Gov Oshiomhole Sacks 4 Commissioners

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo state has sacked four commissioners in the state executive council.
The sacked commissioners include chief Lucky James, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Mrs. Maigida Blessing, Commissioner for Women Affairs; Mr. Patrick Aguinede, Commissioner for Basic Education and Mr. Chris Ebare, Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources.
In a statement issued by the special adviser, media and public
affairs to the governor, Kassim Afegbua, which was published in The
Nation newspaper, he said the sacking of the commissioners was to
strengthen the system towards optimal performance.
Expressing appreciation to the former commissioners for their
services to the state, the governor directed them to hand over all
government properties in their possession to the permanent secretaries
in their respective ministries.
