IPOB To File Criminal Complaint Against Buhari at The Int. Criminal Court in Hague
Category: Nigerian National News
IPOB maintains that since Buhari’s election as the Nigerian
president, crimes against Biafrans has been increasing including
killings in many states recently in places like Anambra and Enugu and
other south Eastern States, culminating in the recent unlawful arrest and detention of Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in detention since 14th of October 2015.
According to published reports, “Prof. Dr. Sluiter is convinced that there is more than enough evidence to have the ICC Prosecutor conclude that the people of Biafra are the victim of crimes within the jurisdiction of the ICC and that President Buhari plays an essential role in these crimes”. The lawyer also noted that “ the electoral violence of 2011- has been under preliminary examination of the ICC for some time now and that the moment has come for the Prosecutor of the ICC to launch a full criminal investigation.”
According to the layer, the criminal complaint will be completed and filed in a short time, and the charges will be made public to enhance transparency of the proceedings.

Buhari lost but may have indirectly encouraged his supporters to engage
