Photos: Nigerian Prison's Boss Appears Before House of Rep Over Alleged Assault of Female Lawmaker by a Prison Official

The Controller-General of Nigeria Prison, Peter Ezenwa Ekpendu, today
appeared before the House of Representatives members to answer questions
on the alleged assault of a female lawmaker, Onyemeachi Mprakpor, by a
prison official within the premises of the National Assembly on
Wednesday April 20th.
Mprakpor who represents Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta
State petitioned the leadership of the lower chambers after she alleged
that an aide of the prison boss slapped her when she attempted to
overtake the 20-car convoy of the prison boss.
