OAU Shuts Down Indefinitely Over Protests Of Workers

Obafemi Awolowo Uinversity, Ile-Ife has shut down indefinitely over the
continuous protests of non-payment of allowances by its workers.
According to the Registrar, Dotun Awoyemo, the management has decided to
shut down the university for the safety of students and staff since the
protests won’t stop.
The old students of the school who are expected to resume next week
after a two-month break will be forced to continue to stay at home.
