Kano State Governor, Ganduje Visits Village Damaged by Heavy Rain, Condoles with Families of Victims

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje yesterday visited
Hayin Gwarmai village, Kwanar Dangora town under Bebeji Local Government
area which was damaged by heavy rain last Friday.
Three people lost their lives while 9 others sustained injuries, also
the main school, market, mosque and houses in the village were damaged
by the heavy rain.
Dr Ganduje extended his condolences to the families of those that lost
their lives and he toured the village to assess the level of damage done
to properties himself. He instructed Bebeji Local Government chairman
to pay the hospital bills of those injured immediately, and to bring the
cost estimate of the renovation of the school and that of the market
