How to make Catfish and Potato Chowder



Ingredients needed

Onion
Chopped celery
Butter
Chicken broth
Potatoes (peeled and diced)
Diced carrots
Whole kernel corn undrained
Milk
Flour
Catfish fillets (cut into pieces)
Salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation

Cook the onion and celery in margarine in an oven until tender.

Add the broth, potatoes, carrots and corn into a pot and allow simmering until the vegetables are tender.


Combine the milk, flour, salt and pepper in a separate bowl.

Add the vegetable mixture and catfish, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. After five minutes, stir in the parsley and food is ready.
