Fire Destroys House In Oke-Ira, Lagos (Photos)

The fire began at about 11am on Thursday. The fire destroyed a residential storey building. The house shares fence with a popular hospital, Gideon Hospital on Gideon Street in Oke-Ira.

According to our sources, the fire was caused by a faulty generator which burnt the whole rooms upstairs.

Fire services which arrived late could not render much help, while two other fire trucks joined later in the day.
