How to Make Uha Soup



Ingredients needed

Uha leaves, dried fish, cocoyam paste, castor oil, spices (iru/ogiri), salt, meat, stock fish, palm oil, water and seasoning.

Method of preparation

Cook and pound cocoyam to form a paste. Keep it aside and steam the meat and stock meat for about 40 minutes with little water and salt. Add dried fish, cocoyam paste, crayfish, castor oil spices (iru/ogiri), seasoning, and palm oil, then allow to steam for five minutes. Add uha leaves, after you have turn them into pieces, pepper, salt to taste and allow to simmer for about another 5 minutes. Then you can serve it with fufu, eba, or pounded yam.
