Fayose is known for his criticism of the APC party and the Buhari led government. He is a strong critic of the APC led government in Nigeria. The governor however put behind his political differences and showed solidarity to his governor colleague, Ambode, by attending the Lagos@50 occasion with some of the party leaders as Lagos celebrates it's fifty year of existence.
Also at the occasion was the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
