Former Health Minister, Babatunde Osotimehin is Dead
Nigeria’s former health minister between December 2008 and March 2010, Babatunde Osotimehin, has been reported dead.
The former health minister, 68 was until his death the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA and dedicated to gender, youth and maternal health issues.
UNFPA reported that the former health minister’s death was announced at the Nigerian office of the UN body on Monday morning.
Osotimehim before his death tweeted for “protecting the health and rights of women and their babies.”
