Boko Haram abducts 200 students in Borno
Category: Boko Haram News
No fewer than 200 pupils of Government Girls Secondary School,
Chibok, Borno State, have been abducted by armed men suspected to be
Boko Haram members.
The pupils were abducted on Monday night.
The Nation gathered that the men came in four trucks to the school
and bundled the students into their trucks just as the students were
busy preparing for their examination slated for Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses said there was no security personnel around to rescue
the pupils, most of whom wept profusely when they realised that their
academic career was about to be terminated by the armed men.
The pupils are aged between 16 and 18, eyewitnesses said.
