Category: Kogi News
Captain Idris Wada has described the high level of inefficiency by
the present management of the State Universal Basic Education Board as
highly embarrassing.
He noted that education has been given
priority attention in his transformation agenda and vowed to resist any
attempt by those entrusted to oversee the sector sabotage government’s
effort towards the realization of the goal.
With the development, the Governor promised to re-organize the board to ensure efficiency and result oriented system.
Governor Wada stated this on Wednesday when members of the Bureau for
Local Government Pension paid him a courtesy call at the Government
House in Lokoja.
“I am disappointed with the non- performance of the Chairman and members of SUBEB and very soon I will restructure the board to give room for improved services in handling the affairs of primary school teachers in the state”. he said.
