Kogi State Governor Dissolves State’s Executive Council
Captain Idris Wada yesterday, dissolved the State’s Executive Council
(EXCO) at the end of the weekly EXCO meeting in Lokoja. The dissolution of
the cabinet which involves all the serving commissioners was to take effect
immediately.
Governor Wada thanked the 16 commissioners for their services to the government and people of the state since 2012 when they were appointed while wishing them well in their future endeavors.
Governor Wada further enjoined them to be ready for further services to the fatherland as may be required. The commissioners were directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries.
