A man was yesterday detained at the Federal Capital Territory

mosque in Garki village of Abuja.

found his loitering around the mosque suspicious and also overheard him
talking of his plans to bomb the mosque on the phone.
The residents after arresting him took him to the palace of the chief Alhaji Usman Nga Kupi.
Although the chief was not available for comment, some palace
officials, however confirmed the incident saying the suspect has been
handed over to the Police.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command DSP Altine Daniel is yet to comment on the incident.
