Boko Haram Abduct 8 More Girls In Borno
Boko Haram militants have reportedly abducted 8 teenage girls in Waranbe
village in Gwoza, Borno state.
According to the locals, the insurgents took over all the highways
leading Gwoza which is 130 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno state
capital.
They added that the sect is currently in control of the entire area around
Gwoza.
This is coming just as the Islamic sect yesterday attacked police and army
checkpoints in Gamboru Ngala and Shanni near the Nigerian/Cameroonian
border.
There were reports yesterday that the insurgents allegedly killed scores of
people during an attack they carried out at a village market in Borno
State.
The insurgents have also taken their fight to neighbouring Cameroon where
they attacked the town of Kousséri, killing two security guards setting free
two of their ,members who were being detained.
