Ex-Kwara governor, Adamu Attah, is dead

Mr. Attah was the governor of the old Kwara State (comprising present Kwara and Kogi states) between 1979 and 1983.
A former governor of old Kwara State, Adamu Attah, is dead.
Mr. Attah died on Thursday at the Abuja National hospital after a brief illness.
A relative of the deceased, Suleiman Attah, confirmed the death to PREMIUM TIMES.
He said the deceased will be buried on Friday in his home town of Okene, Kogi State.
A condolence register has been opened at the Kogi State government
house while sympathizers have trooped to the late Mr. Attah’s family
house in Okene to pay their condolences.
