President Jonathan Cancels Chibok Trip for “Security Reasons”

The Federal Government earlier announced yesterday that President Goodluck Jonathan would visit Chibok where over 200 school girls were abducted over a month ago.

Recall that this would have been the first visit the president would make to are since the crisis began, however another report says the president would no longer visit Chibok due to security reasons.

BBC reporter, states that “the cancellation of this visit underlines just how fragile the security situation is in the north-east.”
