Kefee who sang the popular Branama song and the 'kokoroko' duet with Timaya has passed away, just two days after coming out of coma

The Kokoroko singer slumped and went into coma while on a flight to Chicago for an event some weeks ago. At the time, the plane was forced to land in Los Angeles. Doctors revealed that her chances of survival were slim as her situation does not only require prayers, but a miracle.

Her demise was confirmed by her ex-PR, Femi Salawu, via a phone chat to Daily Mail. The singer's family/management is yet to make an official statement, though condolences have started to pour in. Yaw of Wazobia FM also confirmed the news of her death this morning.

At the time of the coma, Kefee was six months pregnant.

She passed on this morning. This is coming after numerous deaths that rocked the celebrities circus in the past few weeks.

According to sources, a doctor revealed that the pregnant singer couldn’t survive it. She moved in and out of coma. She gave up the ghost this morning. Due to her state, she was too weak to ease out of the pains.

She suffered from brain damage with numerous nervous seizures.

Kefee‘s husband Teddy Esosa is with the body in the US.

It has also been reported that Kefee was not the one who sent out tweets from her account to her fans on May 30, 2014, and that someone else is operating her Twitter account.

May God grant her eternal rest! RIP Kefee
