Second Kaduna Bomb Blast, Buhari Targeted

Three aides and security personnel travelling with former head of state, Muhammadu Buhari were today injured in a second bomb blast that targetted the convoy of the APC Chieftain at Kawo on their way to Duara, Kaduna Kaduna State.

Three aides and security men attached to Gen Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) have been confirmed injured in the second bomb blast in Kaduna this afternoon at Kawo on their way to Duara with the General.

The Bomb blast was said to be targeted at Buhari as the bombers trailed his convoy and detonated the bomb very close to his convoy injuring his security and personal aides. However, the General is in good condition apart from the trauma of the incidence.

Recall that two days ago, Gen Muhammadu Buhari issued a statement warning President Jonathan and his government on their attempt to muscle the opposition and endanger Nigeria.

The Presidency had raised an eyebrow against the statement challenging Buhari's moral capacity to issue such a warning.

SKYTREND NEWS reliably gathered that the first bomb blast in Kaduna that killed scores today was targeted at a popular Islamic Cleric, Dahiru Bauchi who was delivering a Ramadan lecture at Murtala Square.
