EFCC : Nyako Wanted, Charged for TREASON Against Nigeria

Reports have it that EFCC have been trying to get hold of impeached Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, who is said to have into hiding since after his impeachment by the Adamawa State Lawmakers.
According to sources, the Federal Government is under pressure to to declare the impeached governor wanted.
The impeached governor and former Chief of Defence Staff is being investigated and to be charged with alleged looting of Adamawa State treasury and treason against the the Nigerian nation.
From all indications, security reports believes that Nyako has fled.
A source in Yola told Vanguard that Nyako’s security aides took him out of the Capital and into hiding in either Abuja or Saudi Arabia, on the same day following his impeachment, meanwhile other say he is in hiding alright but still in Yola.
Meanwhile Nyako’s spokesman, Sajoh Ahmed has told reporters that his boss is not hiding, he said: “Governor is not on the run. He left Yola on the same day of the impeachment. I don’t know where he is at the moment. I am now in my own house. It is wrong to say he is on the run”.
Nyako has been haunted since the first few hours after his impeachment was formalized, investigations revealed that Security officials are seeking possibilities of declaring the governor wanted.
This is a desperate ploy to make Nyako come out and face the Attorney General of the Federation and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The AGf is said to be pressured by the President to make sure Nyako spends the rest of his life in jail with strong charges, if convicted.
While the EFCC has been busy gathering the necessary documents and critical witnesses to arraign him in court.
It is believed that the EFCC have the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, who worked under Nyako for many years as one of their most important witness.
One senior EFCC member told Vanguard: “Yes, we are keeping the SSG and he is helping us in relation to the huge sum of money that was stolen under Nyako’s leadership. We are not likely to release the man until the trial begins.
We are still looking for Nyako and we know that he has gone underground but we may be forced to declare him wanted, if he proves difficult,” the source said.
Nyako was impeached by the his state’s house of Assembly after being indicted by a panel, set up by his chief justice.
