TRAGIC: PHCN official electrocuted in Anambra (GRAPHIC IMAGE)
While trying to fix a fault on a high tension pole on Saturday July 12, 2014, a Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria (PHCN) staff got electrocuted.
The incident happened right in front of the barracks in Onitsha, the commercial capital of Anambra State.
According to reports, the victim attempted to fix a fault on the pole without wearing the necessary safety gears.
According to reports from Stella Dimo kokorkus, “His colleagues wanted to put off the flow of electricity but he refused. He went up the pole with live voltage and didn’t make it down alive.”
The unidentified man was later taken down from the pole where he met his tragic end.
