Two days ago Aminu Maigari, the NFF president resummed office after surviving impeachment. Recall that the NFF has been in crisis for months now, leading to the suspension of President Aminu Maigari.
However, after weeks of horse- trading, Maigari, returned to office
on Monday in line with the directive of FIFA to reinstate him.
The extent of damage caused by the fire can not be fully ascertained as the time of compiling this result.

Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters (FRSC) in Abuja is on fire.
According to reliable sources available to Echoes, the fire which started from the General Secretary's office affected the Finance & Audit department. It also affected the the office of the General Secretary, Musa Amadu on the top floor and the NFF president's office was also affected.
According to an eye witness account, the fire was caused by an electrical fault which resulted into smoke and then fire.
