Brain Damaged Governor Suntai Returns to Nigeria, Mixes Up Words
Category: Nigerian National News
His real physical and mental health condition was revealed last night in Abuja as he was ushered before the media at retired General TY Danjuma’s Guest house in Abuja shortly after arriving from the UK.
Merely picking his words, Suntai told the media that he had just arrived from Abuja – instead of London.
Also, the governor was still unable to walk without assistance and had difficulty recognizing his environment or remembering names.
Mr. Suntai, who suffered physical and brain injuries when his plane crashed on December 12, 2012, had spent several months undergoing additional treatment at the Wellington Hospital in London. After some months, he was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, in the US state of Maryland.
Mr. Suntai was allegedly quietly brought into Abuja late Saturday after undergoing treatment in London
recently, to avoid being seen by the public, one source told Sahara Reporters.
The governor was accompanied by his wife as well as his personal physician, Dr. Ahmed Kara.
