IMSU Graduate Dies While Trying To Avoid A Dirty Water Bath (PHOTO)

Tragedy struck yesterday as a fresh graduate of the Imo State University took his last breath as some students poured him water in jubilation of final year completion.
What seem to be jubilation turned into a gathering of grief after the victim died while running away from some students who ran after him trying to pour dirty water on him. In his quest to dodge the dirty water being poured on him, he fell into a soak-away pit and got drowned.
Pouring of water on students as show of jubilation has been banned in schools but some students would not obey this.
Many students have been reportedly injured during such jubilation over writing of their final papers, some had been poured acid and some other dangerous liquids during such jubilation, while others like the pictured have met their untimely death.
It is not only during final exam jubilation that the practice of dirty water is done, even during birthday ceremonies, such practices are applied. People should learn to be very cautious at whatever they do, will this students face the parent of the deceased and say he died while they were pouring dirty water on him to celebrate his final exams?
I think every final year student should learn from this as well as those pouring water on them to celebrate their final exams.
