Meanwhile, the APC has not accepted the results of the elections in Akwa Ibom and Rivers states.
Umana Okon Umana, the governorship aspirant on the platform of the APC, showed the evidence of the election rigging in the South East, while female members of the APC in Rivers staged a protest yesterday, March 30, demanding the cancelation of elections in the state.
Nigeria’s main opposition party the All Progressives Congress (APC) is
likely to have the majority in the incoming Senate, with no fewer than
60 senators.
About 46 of them may be from the North. The Senate has 109 members.
The APC will have three senators each from Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Kogi and Kwara states.
It will parade two each from Ogun, Ondo and Nasarawa states and one from Edo.
