Twin Bomb Blast Hits ECWA Church in Tundun Wada Area of Plateau State
Category: Boko Haram News
The blast went off in quick succession at about 8am today (Sunday) when the church service was midway.
The Special Task Force in Jos however says that there were no casualties.
According to an eye-witness report, a member of the church during service had gone into the toilet to ease himself when he noticed something that looked like a parceled bomb, he immediately alerted the security who took the ieds out of the church and exploded it.
No casualties were recorded.
Last week another twin blast hit a crowded Mosque and a restaurant in Jos, killing at least 44 people.
Boko Haram militants have killed nearly 200 people in a string of attacks across northern Nigeria in recent days, evidence of their continued determination to cause turmoil despite a relatively successful campaign earlier this year by troops from Nigeria and neighboring countries.
