Civil Defence Officer Slumps And Dies In His Bedroom

An official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) slumped and died today in his bedroom at PW area of Kubwa.

The body of the deceased was discovered in the room, by his uncle, without any trace of wound or assault.

According to sources, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival and deposited at the mortuary.

Confirming incident, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurudeen Sabo, said the cause of death of the civil defense officer was under investigation, adding that the cause of the death was yet to be ascertained.
