22-Year Old Shot Dead by Neighbor

Ibrahim a 22-year old student and barber had been reportedly shot dead by his neighbor popularly known as Shinqi, a hoodlum living in Command Road in Lagos.
According to an eye-witness, Ibrahim Razaq was killed by one Shinqi for insulting Shinqi’s brother.
He said Shinqi and his brother are known in the neighborhood as thugs and thieves who paraded themselves as cultists, raiding and attacking people in the homes at gunpoint.
Before Ibrahim was killed on the fateful day, he had an argument with Shinqi’s brother and they exchanged unpleasant abuses while the later promised to deal with him later.
Two days after, the eye-witness said, he was escorting his friend, Ibrahim back home at around eleven in the morning when Shinqi and his brother accosted them.
Shinqi, like in the American High School movies challenged Ibrahim for insulting his brother and within a few minutes had shot him.
The killer and his brother ran away leaving the bleeding Ibrahim and his friend to look for a way to save him.
He was shot on the chest and so loosed so much blood and died before he was gotten to the Ikeja General hospital.
Shinqi and his brother were later arrested by the police after the hotel where they were hiding was broken down.
Police said they are carrying out a thorough investigation on the case before they will arraign the suspects before a court for trial.
