Kidnappers Of Ondo Monarch, Demands N40m Ransom, N40k Recharge Cards
Category: Nigeria National News
N40 million ransom has being demanded by the abductors of the Laragunsin
of Iyasan, Oba Abiodun Oyewunmi. It will be recalled that the Oba was
abducted on Monday in the presence of his son, Folarin Oyewunmi.
The kidnappers have now started communicating yesterday with his family,
after they called his son and asked that N40,000 recharge cards be sent
to them, else, they won’t be ready to communicate with the family on
the Oba.
An unspecified amount of recharge cards were however sent by the family
after which the negotiation on the ransom commenced. They have demanded
the sum of N40m, but the family is asking to pay N500,000.
