Sokoto State Old Market Gutted By Fire

Properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed in a fire
outbreak at the Sokoto State Old market. As at 11pm the fire is still
gulping some blocks despite persistent effort of Firefighters.
Sokoto state governor Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR was right there giving a helping hand to Firefighters. It was gathered that Governor Aminu Tambuwal
raced to the scene of the incident to join in the efforts to put out the
fire.
The cause of the inferno could not ascertain as at press time.
It could not be confirm the extent of the damage the outbreak had
caused, damage was however reported to run into millions of naira worth of goods, judging by the intensity of the inferno.
