Scotch eggs
Ingredients needed
2 cups of flour
3 teaspoon of sugar
1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder, boiled egg(s)
½ teaspoon of salt
3 teaspoons of butter
1 ½ litre of groundnut oil
Method of preparation
Mix the flour together except the egg. Peel the egg, spread the pastry on a flat surface and roll it round the egg. Each egg for each roll, then fry in hot oil.
