Ofe Nsala
Ingredients needed
Cocoyam paste, onions, salt, seasoning, dried fish, castor oil (iru/ogiri) uda, utazi leaves and water, palm oil.
Method of preparation
Cook and pound cocoyam to form paste and keep aside, cut the meat into medium sizes and boil for about 20 minutes. Put water in a pot, add castor oil, cocoyam paste, salt, pepper, crayfish, dried fish, onions, palm oil and seasoning and cook for 30 minutes.
Stir and add uda, shredded utazi leaves and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with fufu, pounded yam or eba.
