In a recent video, the "Jaga-Jaga" singer as
usual took a swipe at Timaya saying, Timaya wouldn't have been
successful today if he (Eedris) didn't give him the confidence needed.
Timaya in a angery video posted on Instagram insulted Eedris using lots of F-words on his former boss and even called him a "dirty-looking Igbo smoker"
Timaya mentioned the of Patoranking, Runtown & Skales who were under him, how he gave them room and they are successful today, he posed a question at Eedris to tell him who he had helped.
Timaya was a backup singer for Eedris Abdulkareem
for a long time, before he got his break, in this video Timaya said he never got any help from Eedris, that he even paid his own transport fares to shows of Eedris.
Some online gossips had it that Eedris sometimes lock Timaya out of his apartment or tell
his boys not to let Timaya see him, especially when he knows,
Timaya needs his financial help. Timaya was said to have left him in anger.
