Breaking: Owoniyi is New Obaro of Kabba
Kogi State government has announced the appointment of Chief Solomon Owoniyi as the new Obaro of Kabba. The announcement came at the end of the State executive council meeting today.
Kabba, the traditional and cultural headquarters of Okun people, the Yoruba speaking people of Kogi State has been without a king for more than two years following the death of late Obaro of Kabba, HRM Ob Micheal Olobayo. The new king, a first class traditional ruler in the state will henceforth be addressed as His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi , the New Obaro of Kabba.
