Osun Election: Police Have Become A Willing Tool Of Oppression & Intimidation, Adeleke Speaks
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, last night through the Director-General of his Campaign Organization, Chief Lere Oyewumi, held a press conference where he said the police had suddenly become a willing tool of oppression and intimidation in the hand of the APC.
He urged them to stop being a tool, saying police invitation asking Adeleke to come was far from necessary.
He said the certificate issue had been tried and judgement given by an Osun State High Court presided over by Justice David Oladimeji.
He said, ” The police have become a willing tool of oppression and intimidation in the hand of the APC.”
He, however, commended President Muhamadu Buhari for directing the police to stop the arrest.
