PDP’s Prof Ayade Re-Elected Cross River Governor
The Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade of the Peoples
Democratic Party has been re-elected into office. He was declared winner
of the governorship election by INEC after polling a total of 381,484
votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator John
Owan-Enoh, who polled 131,161 votes.
The returning officer for the governorship election in Cross River State, Prof Akii Ibhadode said, “That Ben Ayade, having scored the required number of lawful votes is hereby declared winner of the election.”
