Recession Times; Those That Obey God will be Blessed Tremendously (Deuteronomy 28:1- 13)

If you truly obey and follow the instructions of the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands… you will be set high above, you will not experience the hard times  (recession) that people are talking about. God will make you so rich and wealthy that people awe!

You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God, particularly in this recession times.

It doesn’t matter what is currently happening around the world. The economic situation of the world entirely is getting not getting better, it has never been this difficult, people are dying of poverty, people don't have money to take care of their health, not even their family. 

 

Many young teenagers have taken to prostitution and scamming to earn a living, but this current hard time situation is not a yardstick to measure yourself as a child of God. Once you obey his commands (all of it, not part of it), you will live even better than you were when there was no recession.

As a child of God, that time when it is harder for the people of the world, that is when God would usually enrich you, in order to use you as tool for blessing others, now take a look at God’s blessing for you in this recession. Please note: you can only achieve this if you obey God’s commandments to the fullest. If you love the Lord your God, keep his commands, honor your parents, refuse to covert what belongs to your neighbor, and don’t steal the nation’s treasury, then….

1- Your towns (your family, relatives, you and the people around you) and your field (your business, your job), will be blessed. (Deuteronomy 28:3)

2- Your children and your crops will be blessed- that means your children will be among the “Who is who”, your business, job, career will be profitable. You will be healthy, wealthy and prosperous in all that pertains to you.

3- The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. That means from the job you are currently engaged in you will start another job or business and that one too will prosper, it will all be blessed.

4- Your fruits baskets and breadboards will be blessed. It means your bank account and other places where you wealth is stored like stocks, shares etc will be blessed

Look at this:

5- Wherever you go (anywhere you are located, be it in Sokoto, Zamfara, Bayelsa, Lebanon, New York or even Afghanistan), whatever work or business you are doing, it could be watermelon selling, cake making, sowing, or even banking, you will be blessed, you will be prosperous, rich, wealthy and healthy (Deuteronomy 28:3-6)

6- The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. Look, it didn’t say, enemies will not attack you, it says, God will conquer for you when they attack you. So let me tell you my dear friend you will be attacked, but you end up victorious as long as you stay with your God.

In this recession time as you prosper in the Lord, you are going to have many more enemies, because they will wonder how you are feeding regularly, clothing, and managing to keep your job. They will be angry, they will plot your downfall in many ways, through kidnapping, fraud and even attempted murder or rape, just our of jealousy!

But the Bible in Deuteronomy 28:7B says; “…They will attack you from one direction, but they (those attacking you), will scatter from you in seven directions” wow! Isn’t that awesome!

The Lord your God will guarantee a blessing on everything you do (Not part of what you do, EVERYTHING you do) and will fill your store houses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you… because you obey and keep his commands and work in his ways.

Now because of all these things God will do for you, particularly coming at a time like this when a lot of people are facing difficulties, people will stand in awe of you, wondering how possible this is.

Because you keep the commandments of God and obey him.

Deuteronomy 28:12 “..The Lord will give you prosperity and bless you with many children, numerous livestock (cars, houses, fat bank accounts), abundant crops (money, stocks etc). the Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens (God will give you so much wealth, because the heaven and earth and everything within it is created by Him). And will bless all the work you do. (See it didn’t say some of the work you do, it says, “All” the work you do.

You will lend to many nations, but you will never lend from them, (you can never be in debt, you cannot be broke, but you will keep giving).

When you obey the commandments of God, the Lord will make you head and not tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom. (Deuteronomy 28:13)

If you obey all the commandments of God and carefully observe them daily, God will bless you so tremendously you will not remember there is a recession.


I pray that God will give you the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of his word so you can do all that is required of you to please him so you can be blessed abundantly in Jesus name, amen.
