Duties of a Mediator
God is not a mortal like me, so I cannot argue with Him or take Him to trial. If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together. The mediator could make God stop beating me, and I would no longer live in terror of His punishment. Then I could speak to Him without fear, but I cannot do that in my own strength?. Job 9:32-35
Yes we have that mediator now, He came into this sinful world in form of flesh to die for our sins so that He can intercede on our behalf to God Almighty, so that unlike Job complaining about not having a mediator we do, so you see from Jobs speech in Job 9: 32-35 what the functions of a mediator are:
The mediator speaks to God on our behalf to stop our punishment when we have sinned and repented
Because of the mediator we also have access to speak directly to God as long as we pray through the mediator, and that is why when we pray, we say in Jesus name.
Therefore my dear reader if you haven't accepted the mediator yet, you are losing so much, you are toiling with you toiling with your own power instead of leaving it all to the mediator to do it for you. Everything is easy for Him, He would speak to the creator of everything on your behalf and I bet you, you will never remain the same again.
Confession
Dear Father, my God, my creator I thank you for giving Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ for the world, to be my mediator. Jesus Christ, I accept You today as my Lord and savior, please plead on my behalf to the Creator to help me in every dark areas of my life, thank you Lord Jesus for saving my life, in Jesus name, amen.
God is able and He will heal all areas of your life that requires healing once you have sincerely prayed that prayer.
Thank you.
