Photos: How Properties and Goods Worth Millions Were Destoyed by Fire at Shonola- Aguda In Lagos
Goods worth millions of naira have been destroyed in a fire outbreak at a building housing multiple shops on Shonola Street in Aguda-Ogba area of Lagos State on Saturday.
The fire which started around 2PM from one of the shops was reportedly caused by a young lady who was fueling a generator while it was on when the container of the fuel caught fire.

The girl reportedly threw the burning container which had fuel in it back into the shop out of shock.
She sustained minor burns from the incident before she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Due to intervention of fire service officials the fire did not spread to nearby buildings, but burnt down about 10 shops on the building.
The affected shops include a boutique, bookshop, three electronic shops, among others.
No casualty was recorded.
