Video: EFCC Officials at Ambode’s Residence
The video below shows security operatives at Ambode’s residence in Epe this
morning. It is believed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) agents are already inside the house carrying out search.
Shortly after news of the invasion of the house reached Epe people, they
trooped out in their numbers to show their support and solidarity to
their own son.
Ambode is a native of Epe in Lagos, he was immediate past governor of Lagos
and he is being investigated by the EFCC for corruption and money laundering.
Last week, some accounts connected to the former governor was frozen by the
anti-corruption agent. The amount said to have been confiscated was about
N9.9BN
