Thirty-two people have died in a stampede at the funeral of assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
A further 190 were injured in the tragedy at Soleimani's hometown of
Kerman, where the military chief was being laid to rest, according to
state TV.
Tens of thousands had turned out to pay their respects as anger grows over his death.
Distressing footage shows victims being treated at the scene of the
stampede. The general's burial has been postponed as a result of the
stampede.
Soleimani was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad on Friday, and his
death has provoked a crisis, with Iran pledging to avenge his death.
