Your Position Will Not Buy You Eternity
When the Lord decides to punish the people of the earth for all their sins and atrocities, no one will be spared regardless of how highly placed they are in the society, be you a pastor, a bishop, a president or the richest man on the entire surface of the earth.
Your money will not give you salvation. The only thing that can save our life is knowing God and believing in His promises, following His decrees and laws. If you are fighting a fellow man like yourself you can use your skills, talents, strengths and even weapons to defeat your opponent. But no one has ever and will ever be able to fight God successfully not even the fallen angels.
Your power can get you money; money can buy you bombs, automatic guns, armories that can destroy an entire city, killing large number of people. But you cannot stand the wrath of God!
Listen to this:
"Look! The Lord is about to destroy the earth and make it a vast waste land. He devastates the surface of the earth and scatters the people.
"Priests and lay people, Servants and masters, Maids and mistresses, Buyers and sellers, Lenders and borrowers,
"Bankers and debtors- none will be spared. The earth will be completely emptied and looted. The Lord has spoken!" Isaiah 24:1-3 (NLT)
So when God wants to destroy, it will affect anyone that is not on His side regardless of your status, regardless of how thick the walls of your building are, even the large number of security guarding you is worthless because they won?t even be able to protect themselves not to talk of you against the wrath of the Almighty. The only saving grace is to be on the Lord's side.
Many of us don't think of death, we think after this life there is no more life, if you believe that as man or human being your soul or flesh is being moved by a spirit, and if you know that spirits don't die then you will no that you have another life after this present body wears out.
And the truth is this, the good and the bad people will not be in the place, while the good people will be separated by God to live eternity with Him, where there is no weeping, no hunger, no war, no diseases, then you will do you best to be a good person so as to go this place.
How then can you be on the Lord's side?
Think about all your sins and have a change of heart, Repent
Ask God for forgiveness. Trust only in God, not in man, not in your riches, nor your talents or power. Study God's word daily, it will help guide and teach you the right way to living a good life.
