Coronavirus: Unilorin Orders Test For Foreign Students Before Resumption
The University of Ilorin has instructed its returning international students to submit themselves for coronavirus tests at the school clinic before resuming for the second semester.
The Director, Centre for International Education, UNILORIN, Prof. Felicia Olasheinde-Williams, gave the directive in a letter addressed to each of the students.
According to her, the tests will confirm their health status.
The letter stated that the directive was necessary to prevent the spread of coronavirus on campus.
Olasheinde-Williams said all returning international students must adhere to the instructions.
She said, “Note that this test is an important requirement for maintaining your studentship with the university.
“As such, you are enjoined to adhere strictly to the directive immediately on your arrival.”
