How to Recover From Sickness
Hezekiah was the king of Judah in Jerusalem. He was one of the kings in the Old Testament that truly served God. During his reign as the king of Judah, he suffered many afflictions including threats to his life by other kings in the world then.
But in spite of his faithfulness, he was struck with a terminal disease by God. And prophet Isaiah revealed to him that he was going to die. But rather than get angry or feel offended like many of us would have been, because we are serving God, we are not supposed to fall sick! Alas! Hezekiah cried unto God. In Isaiah 38: 3, he cried to God, "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight"
So it's not everything that happens to us that comes from the devil, God uses something's to test our faith to see how much we can rely on Him. Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take"
In John chapter 14 verse 1, Jesus Christ was speaking to his disciples, he said, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and also trust in me"
So regardless of whatsoever situations you may find yourself, put all your trust in God. In fact some of those situations are coming from God for correction purposes, so that you can change some things about your lifestyle, maybe to stop you from some disobedience you are used to. He wants to see if you are willing to change.
Let's go back to our story in Isaiah 38:4-6 and 8, "Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying go and say to Hezekiah, thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears; behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. (God is adding to somebody's today in Jesus name).
Can you imagine that! God added 15 extra years to the life of a man that doctors have declared dead. A man who is to die in a few days, God added 15 years to his life.
So what I am telling you is this; I don't care whatsoever the doctors have told you about your health, I don't care whatever the disease is called be it cancer or HIV, the word of God says in John 14:1, "Don't let your heart be troubled" Believe in God and you will be healed in Jesus name.
Halleluiah! God did not only heal Hezekiah for the ailment, he also gave him other promises, Isaiah 38: 8, "Behold, I will bring again the shadow of degrees, which is gone down in the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down"
Can you imagine that! The sun went back ten degrees because of the prayer of one man, a single person. That means God can set back, or stop time because you, he can make it look like you haven't lost anything even when it looks like you have lost everything. God can stop time in your favor as a result of anything you have lost.
Pray this prayer:

Isaiah 38:16-17, "O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me alive (New Living Translation says: "Lord, Your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health. You restore my health and allow me to live! Yes, this anguish was good for me, for You have rescued me from death and forgiven all my sins.
Also pray to God that if this sickness is as a result your sins that He should heal you totally now that you have been punished and have repented of your sins. I don't care whatever name they have for that ailment as long as you believe in God and have truly repented, God has the power to heal you of all ailments.
Isaiah 38: 18, "For the dead cannot praise thee, the dead cannot celebrate thee, because they cannot hope in your faithfulness"
Say, I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord, continue to declare His promises and you will receive you healing now in Jesus name, amen.
