Female Protester Who Got Shot at Lekki Toll Plaza Dies After Surgery

Chizoba Francisca Agu, was one of the protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20th. She suffered fatality after being shot by an unknown soldier. The soldiers were allegedly ordered by the Lagos State government to disperse the protesters at the Too Gate, who were calling for an end to "Police brutality in Nigeria".

The soldiers opened fire at the protesters and reports had it that several people were killed while so many others were hospitalized. Chizoba was one of the victims.

She had been operated successfully and was already recovering from the bullet wounds when she suddenly gave up the ghost.

A Twitter user @iampakino posted her demise on Wednesday, 4th November.

The tweet read;
