Just Like Nigerians, Angolans Start Protests on Police Brutality

Category: World News

It has not been a rosy 2020 really.

Covid-19 came and upturned normal processes, forcing most to change lifestyles, increasing poverty rates and, unfortunately, increasing the gap between governments and citizens mostly in Africa.

Similar to #EndSARS in Nigeria, Angola is also staging a say no to police brutality -- VidasAngolaNasImportam.

Scores of citizens have left their homes to the streets to protest police brutality with placards.

Just like Nigerians, Angolans are also powerfully making use of social media -- majorly Twitter to talk about the brutality.
