Waking Up Every Morning- Thanking God That I am Alive!

Is it bad to have the goodies of life? No! It is very good to have the good things of life, as a matter of fact, God is good and everything about him his good. So everyone is suppose to be at least be comfortable in life .
But the problem I have here is many people don't even know that waking up everyday is a privilege and not a right! You don't know that? You don't know that some people sleep and die in their sleep? You don't know that some people out of no fault of theirs lost their lives to accident. Whatever they had desired or working had to achieve before that last minute when the clock ticked, is forever and ever forgotten.
Do you want to start being famous after your death? I can hear someone saying- "I reject it"- Yes you have every right to reject it, but are you being thankful for being alive, and seeing the light of another day, Everyday?
You may not have all what you desire, or all the things you want to have , or be the things you want to be, but you are still alive!
Being alive means you can still make it. God can change anything within a minute. But that can only happen if you put your trust in Him, if you thankful everyday for being alive.
But you want to be famous, you are not remembering God, you are not thanking HIM. You want to become very rich, you want to become a billionaire, because of that you forget to give the due acknowledgment to God.
You want to achieve all these after death? Okay, you don't know some people actually became famous/popular after their death?
Why? It's a question I may not be able to answer.
But why not always pray to God for safety, for preservation of life and be thankful everyday to the Creator for keeping you alive, because you still have the chance to make it.
Yes, success can be achieved within a twinkle of an eye, because you have been working for it, and especially because you are still alive.
With due respect to this great man- George Floyd, he was not really known during his life time, but became very popular after his death. He is not the only one who became popular after his death, there are handfuls. I'm sure they are not so happy that they were not there to enjoy the pleasure, the popularity, the fame and even the money- the money that will be spent by other people, after their death for not being popular before their death, but became famous after their death!
George Floyd became one of the most popular black man on earth after his death, no one knew him before his death. In fact he wasn't a rich man, but after his death, donations from people across America made him a millionaire but he did not spend a penny out of all that money- How sad!
What I'm I trying to say? Be thankful everyday you wake up and see yourself alive. Because just like George Floyd story changed within minutes, and an unknown man of 47 years became a world-fame, but unfortunately he was not alive to enjoy it!
But your story can change too in a minute but while you are still alive. So you need to be thankful. I think this message is for someone, because while I was still on this writing, I saw a post from a friend on Facebook.
It was a great shock to me, he posted about his friend who died in his sleep over night, according to him, this friend was hale and hearty, not sick, easy-going and very intelligent, but died just like that while sleeping.
I'm sure this guy still has a lot of things he has lined up to achieve in 2020, not to talk of years to come. But imagine, he is no longer here.
Why not say "Thank You Lord for keeping me alive, thank you Lord for Protection, thank You Lord for everything"
I admonish you this evening, to thank God for life before you go to bed tonight, leave all your worries, once you are alive, you can still make it, you can become famous, you can become rich, while you are still alive. Give thanks to God for life today.
