Rafi'atu, the girlfriend of final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Bashir Abdulalhi, who allegedly committed suicide by drinking sniper has denied cheating on him.

Contrary to what is being circulated online, she said it was the deceased who cheated on her.

It's been widely reported on the social media that the Mathematics student, an indigene of Ungwa Uku Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, committed suicide by drinking poisonous substance suspected to be Sniper because his girlfriend allegedly cheated on him.

The incident occurred at his Yalwawa residence, located on the outskirts of the state capital on Monday, February 15.

His friends quickly rushed him to the Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital in the state capital, where he was confirmed dead by doctors on arrival.

And now the accused lady alleged to have cheated on him, which made him to commit suicide has denied allegation, she said she never cheated on him.
