Interview With Sunday Igboho After Armed Men Attacked His House (Video)

Sunday Igboho have granted interview with BBC News after the attack carried out by unknown gunmen at his residence early Thursday morning. 

According to him, At "around 1:30 am I just heard gunshots in front of my house" he said the assailants were screaming, "Sunday Igboho come out, we are DSS, we are soldiers" 

He said he went close to the window and saw them, that the assailants were in DSS uniforms and military uniforms. 

"I was surprised", the Yoruba activist told the interviewer, wondering what the problem was. "Because I never killed anybody, I never harm anybody, all the rally I am doing is peaceful rally, so I have to fight for my family"

He said that he was agitating for the Yoruba nation because Fulani bandits were killing his family(Yorubas), raping their women and taking ransom from them. 

According to him he had to come out to fight for the Yoruba people since government has refused to do the right thing. 

When asked if he was in the house when the attack was carried out on his residence earlier this morning by the unknown gunmen, he said yes.

The interviewer went ahead to ask him about the killing people and destruction of his properties by the gunmen. His response;

"The guys were killed at around 2:00 am, all my properties was destroyed, also N2million was taken away from my wardrobe.
